Carolina Wellness Psychiatry, PLLC, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, treats patients of all ages through a comprehensive approach that integrates psychotherapy and medication management. Our treatment philosophy centers on a whole-person approach focusing on overall wellness and health. Our physicians and therapists partner with patients, families, and other medical specialists to provide comprehensive care.

Carolina Wellness Psychiatry, PLLC offers complete psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults to treat a range of emotional, cognitive, and behavioral difficulties including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, addiction, autism, postpartum depression/anxiety, and dementia. Treatment modalities include comprehensive assessments, individualized care plans, medication management, individual and family psychotherapy, and coordination with other medical specialties.

Our physicians and therapists offer 30, 45, and 60-minute appointments with short wait times to ensure patients receive the high-quality care they deserve. We have appointments that work with your schedule – urgent crisis care appointments, early morning, evening, and Saturday appointments. We are considered out-of-network for most insurance panels. You are responsible for the full amount at your visit and may then submit an out-of-network claim to your insurer. Please contact your insurer regarding your out-of-network benefits and deductible. We are currently not accepting Medicaid or Medicare.

Anxiety Disorders

If your anxiety is constant or gets worse over time to the point that interferes in daily life, that is not normal anxiety, but rather, it may be an anxiety disorder.

ADHD

ADHD is an abbreviation of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder is marked by ongoing difficulty with attention and/or hyperactivity that interferes with daily functioning or development. 

Depression

Depressive disorders are common mood disorders with symptoms that affect how you feel, think, and engage in daily activities such as eating, sleeping, or working.  Major depression requires symptoms be present for at least two weeks.
